De Troch Chapeau Peach 25cl

Chapeau Peach pours a dark apple juice colour with a bit of haze, faint rim of bubbles that quickly disperses. Reminds me of apple cider. This really isn't so much a beer as a nice, sweet fruity drink. All peach (they say 20% peaches on the label), with the slightest of lambic notes in the back. Some esters in the smell. Very sweet, with none of the typical sourness from most peches. Very rich body and light carbonation. The beer is quite drinkable with a slightly citric lambic kick to the finish. The main body is mainly peach but I enjoyed the fruity ride to the finish. A fun beer not to be taken too seriously
