St Louis Peche 25cl

St Louis Peche pours a nice clear amber colour with a huge frothy two inch head. Good lacing. The aroma sure lets you know that you're drinking a beer flavoured with peaches, it bursts with fresh peaches and is very fruity and sugary sweet, that's tempered by a Lambic sourness. It's a funny balance, but it more or less works. Flavour was tart; a nice sour peach flavour all the way through. Some slight acidity and tartness sneaks in but is covered mostly by the sweetness of the peaches. Extremely well balanced and rounded out from start to finish. The flavour clings to the palate without becoming cloying. Light mouthful, fruity complexity, extremely smooth and silky on the tongue going down effortlessly. Easily drinkable due to low abv and the fact it doesn't taste sickingly sweet
