Craft Brewers Sweet F.A. Ale 50cl

At first I found Sweet FA Ale rather too hoppy, in the style of Cropton's Uncle Sams, but it mellowed out a bit as my mouth grew used to the strong grapefruit tang. Other flavours began to emerge after the grapefruit - first came the marmalade, then barley sugar, then some vague nuts. The finish is long and much smoother than the initial hop attack - a little dry, quickly followed by a little sweet, then a long flowing bitterness.
