Crabbies Ginger Beer is made from a unique recipe that has 4 secret ingredients which coupled with the "steeped ginger" give the drink its sparkle, its crispness its uniquely ginger and refreshing difference. It pours a light pale golden colour with a frothy head reducing to a nice powdery lace. Fresh Ginger aromas are immediately evident but there is some biscuity malt in there with some citric hop notes. Flavour is a tussle with the clean citric hops and bright Ginger spice dominating the otherwise clean malts. The beer is quite refreshing and surprisingly easy to swallow. Carbonation is mild but appropriate and the texture is nice and full without being oily. Very refreshing mouth tingling beer with the aftertaste being dominated by Ginger. Tastes like a well made proper, old-school ginger ale. A little bit fizzy on the tongue, but the taste keeps you wanting more
