Burton Bridge Bramble Stout 50cl

Burton Bridge Bramble Stout is bottle-conditioned and is made with pale and chocolate malts and Challenger hops, and the addition of blackberry juice. The sweetness of the raw berries is naturally balanced by acid and various aromatics, and accomplished in a subtle and well-crafted way without recourse to sugar syrup, the marriage of berry fruit and beer is a successful one. The palate is full of dark smoky malt with a juicy undertow of tasty berry fruit, combining well with a very forward hoppiness that develops chocolaty notes, a smoky, well-hopped dark ale gives a pleasantly drying and intriguingly perfumed result.
