Ardbeg Renaissance is the final stage of the series with the last "Almost There” has now come of age and Ardbeg has released yet one more taste on the path to becoming "10 Year Old”. Ardbeg Renaissance marks the point from which all Ardbeg 10 Years Old will be bottled using only distillate produced since Ardbegs Renaissance in 1997. Nose: increasingly phenolic, rather greasy, more-or-less balanced, harmonized and vibrating, body medium, warming up. Palate: very malty, almost a pumpernickel, pleasantly briny, pleasantly earthy and peaty, balanced, Ffinish: sun-dried apricots followed by a tide of pungency, dry and phenolic
