Harviestoun Ola Dubh 33cl

Ola Dubh (for "Black Oil") is so named because it is gloopy and viscous. A fascinating beer. This is made with Harviestoun's Old Engine Oil porter-style brew, matured in casks that once matured Highland Park 12 Year Old single malt. Something of a cult hit already, supplies are limited and each bottle is individually numbered. Dark chocolate , toffee, whisky and creamy, tart oak. Palate: Bitter and creamy, with more dark chocolate and toffee, plus some coffee. Finish: Roasted grain makes the first impression, bringing more coffee. Otherwise the warming finish is drying and bitter. Comments: Dark malt flavours are prominent in this first of three versions of Ola Dubh
Strength: 8.0% ABV
