Clement Blanc Rum from Martinique is a classic rhum agricole blanc, ideal for making cocktails or sipping wiht ice and lime.
Usually colourless rum is not aged, but there are exceptions. Bacardi does age their white rum for no less than three years, in an attempt to 'polish' the taste, where after it is filtered to remove any colour, which again gives it an even rounder mouth feel.
Clément at Martinique has developed a system of maturation on steel tanks, where time and microscopic bubbles of air remove unpleasant esters in the process.
Rhum Clément Blanc gives you a genuine taste of sugar cane, the taste you definitely miss in the industrialized molasses-based rums you would otherwise end up with in Denmark.
