Arette Unique Tequila is a limited product - only 3000 bottles or 1000 liters Arette Unique is produced every year. Arette Unique is best served as an exclusive avec slightly below room temperature in a Riedel tequila glass. It is also a greatly enjoyed with chocolate.
Since the 1900's the family Orendain, one of the oldest Tequila families, has been operating Destiladora Azteca de Jalisco S.A. de C.V. This is one of the oldest Tequileras located in the town of Tequila. The process continues to be overseen by the brothers Eduardo and Jaime Orendain. This Tequila is smooth, yet full of character. The water used in the distillation process comes from the volcano of Tequila and gives the finished product its "unique” personality. The Tequila is aged in white oak bourbon barrels, giving Arette Unique a distinctive flavour and bouquet.
Arette Unique Tequila was appointed the second best aged tequila available in Sweden by the spirits magazine Apéritif #3, 2006. It was also ”Highly recommended” in the wine and spirits magazine ”Livets Goda” #17, 2005.
