Louis Royer XO Cognac has been designed to meet the demands of those who cherish a perfect point of balance between the most prestigious crus of the Cognac region. It is the result of blending the finest and most painstakingly selected cognacs from oldest stock which have been languishing in Limousin oak casks for many years. It has a lustrous golden hue with an incredibly smooth, long taste and is, unquestionably, a cognac of incomparable excellence and finesse.
Deep burnished copper colour. Rich, compressed aromas of salty toffeed nuts, dried currants, and powdered sugar follow through on a soft, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-full body with layers of creamy custard, baking spices, and dried apples. Finishes with a long, resonant and warming spice. Remarkable smooth, even at full strength. With water it takes a sweet caramel and nougat character on top of the fruitiness
