Ramos Pinto White Port is one of the best. Made from Malvasia Fina and Codega grapes (mostly grown on the Ramos Pinto estate) that are picked quite ripe, this wine is then aged for three years in traditional port barrels called 'pipes'. Adriano Ramos-Pinto's white ports are richer and more complex than many. This distinctive port has a rich golden yellow colour with wonderful primary aromas of pineapple and banana, which are balanced by mature secondary aromas. On the palate, it is light and smooth with a delicate sweetness. The wine is fresh, fruity, slightly dry and simply delightful!, it is incomparable on the rocks with an orange twist. Since it has had extended barrel age and is fortified, it is no problem to have keep it in the refrigerator for a month after opening it, but I doubt it will last that long
