Hancocks Presidents Reserve Single Barrel 75cl

Hancocks Presidents Reserve Single Barrel is produced at the scenic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort (close to Woodford Reserve Distillery) home of numerous other whiskies such as Eagle Rare 10 year-old, Eagle Rare 17 year-old, Blanton's, Rock Hill Farms, and Elmer T.Lee. This bourbon is bottled at 88.9 proof a rather the usual 90 or 100 proof you see in other bourbon bottlings.
The first bourbon to win The Trophy, the highest award given at the International Spirits Challenge 1998.
This Single Barrel Bourbon is deep amber in colour, the nose is light and sweet, with traces of mango and papaya. The body is full, and the palate shows a nice, if simple, balance of honey, clover, a slight fruitiness, and a dash of spices. The finish is long and warm
