Hidalgo Amontillado is a blend of dry old Amontillado sherry with the sweet Pedro Ximénez. This Medium wine has a rich nutty aroma and a rich warm flavour, neither too sweet nor too dry with an expressive palate, full of salty-nutty style and baked character. Fresh acidity. A perfect aperitif and excellent with poultry, pork, pates, quiches or cheesesslightly sweet.
Amontillado Hidalgo is produced according to the traditional methods as stipulated by the controlling body of the Denomination of Origin 'Jerez-Xeres-Sherry'.
