Rhum Clement Creole Shrubb liqueur 70cl

Rhum Clement Creole Shrubb liqueur is a subtle blend of young and old rums, sugar cane syrup and orange peel, all brewed through a slow maceration process in oak casks. It has a medium light body to it and is a light orange gold in colour. The aroma is an intoxicating blend of Curacao orange peels and musky Rhum Agricole, with a touch of exotic tropical spices. The taste is much less sweet than similar orange liqueurs and very smooth on your tongue. It has a deliciously sharp and slightly bitter orange zest flavour that wakes up your palate immediately.
Rhum agricole is, simply put, rum which is produced using the juice of fresh pressed sugar cane as opposed to molasses.
Creole Shrubb is a syrup which is made from dried orange peels and various spices. It made its way from Africa to the Indies via the slave trade, and is most often made by small companies and in homes for Carnival and mixed with rum. Pretty much like the yearly appearance of Egg Nog 'round Christmas time
