Littlemill 1991 bottled in 2007 Connoisseur's Choice from a distillery that closed in 1994 and is now demolished. Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose: Sweet with citrus fruits - grapefruit. Palate: Fruity with touch of cedar wood. With water: Nose: Sweet and fruity - lemonade. Palate: Ripe apples & pears with slight perfumed note. Body: Mellow Finish: Smooth and quite long. Cask type: Refill Sherry Hogsheads. Style: Gentle, delicate flavours one would expect from a Lowland Malt. Littlemill may be the oldest distillery in Scotland. It is possible that whisky has been distilled, at least on the site where Littlemill Distillery now sits, since the fourteenth century
