Auchentoshan Classic from one of the few remaining Scotch Whisky Singe Malt distilleries in Lowland Region of Scotland, Based at Duntocher near Glasgow. Auchentoshan means 'Corner of the field' in Gaelic. Auchentoshan Classic is one of the only remaining triple distilled scotch whiskies. Replacing the old Select, this bottling doesn't carry an age statement but is a really good example of a younger malt whisky. Auchentoshan Classic is soft, rich and creamy with a pale gold appearance. It has a rich vanilla and coconut smell with a hint of green apple and a tang of citrus zest. To taste it has a sweet vanilla cream, fresh green apple skin and a little mint. It has a wonderful fresh floral zesty finish.
