Schmitt Sohne Dornfelder is a red varietal grown in smaller quantities Than the predominate red varietal Spätburgunder, known internationally as Pinot Noir. Schmitt Schenk grows and produces this varietal known as Dornfelder, which is a hearty, full bodied, velvety rich wine with a floral bouquet and excellent up front fruit. Complements a variety of meats including beef, lamb, veal and turkey.
