Heather Ales Historic Ales of Scotland

Historic Ales of Scotland Pack containing 4 33cl bottles of Scottish Ale.
....Fraoch Heather Ale Brewed in Scotland since 2000 B.C. Fraoch Heather Ale is a light amber ale with floral peaty aroma, full malt character, a spicy herbal flavour and dry wine like finish.
....Alba Scots Pine Ale uses sprigs of spruce and pine instead of hops. Surprisingly, rather than being immediately piny, the nose is at first very light and fruity, a little reminiscent of a gueuze. Alba Scots Pine has lots of treacly, residual sweetness, accompanied by a strong alcohol kick. It is deep and quite sweet in a pinous way, with depth and complexity.
....Kelpie Seaweed Ale has a light malt character, drying but not over-bitter, and a pleasantly smooth texture. A certain saltiness does develop in the finish, with some restrained hops, and there is a late hint of sweet green leaves, rather like pak choy. As the beer settles it develops a surprisingly distinctive milk chocolate note
