Scottish Leader Scotch Whisky Nose: Perfumy, spicy, musky. Fat, sweet and a little slick. Creamy toffee, sponge cake, stewed apple, date and gingerbread. Palate: Rounded, slippery-smooth. Very malty indeed. Creamy. Sweet. Some orangey notes. Finish: Spicy. Minty. Comment: Very mild, but a blend assembled with great skill and subtlety.
