Milford 10 year old Whisky from New Zealand. Nose: Dry and malty/oaty (accentuated with water). Lightly fragrant, Light vanilla, creme caramel, some dried apricot. Palate: Cream flavours. Maltiness. A short burst of extreme sweetness. Then peppery. Herbal tea with some citrus notes and nutmeg. A little too light with water. Finish: Dry, slight wood. Hot and warming. Comment: Well-made, light and clean. Good flavour development. Good balance
