Lindemans Framboise pours a pretty ruby colour topped by a pinkish fluffy medium head that laces well and sticks around for the entire glass. Aroma is like a decadent raspberry cake. Lindemans Framboise is very strong in the nose and it doesn't hold back at all. Nice authentic raspberry flavour...not like artificial flavouring agents, tart and sweet. Nice and sour up front fades pretty quickly to the sweetness of the fruit, and not all that watery, seems to have characteristics of a sweet fruit syrup. Loads of explosive, mouth filling carbonation. Fruity and sweet but the tartness of the berries brings a nice balance. It's significantly sweeter than most other beers of its kind. Finishes smooth and fruity. Very refreshing.
