The name reflects its brilliant appearance and honors the freshwater pearl mussels flourishing in the pure clean waters of The River Spey. Tasting notes: Toasted almonds, citrus & barley sugar. Redolant of malt and faintly smoky. Warm aromas of sherry and vanilla with a hint of toffee. Rich and complex, malty and lightly peated with lingering flavours of sherry, oak and smoke.
