De Troch Chapeau Tropical ( banana ) 25cl

Chapeau Banana from De Troch Brewery pours a light amber colour with a tall head and nice retention and leaves a little lacing on the glass. The aroma has tons of bananas with a little bit of spice and some sweetness added in. The flavour is very interesting, very refreshing. The sourness is brought in balance by the full and slightly sweet banana taste with just a hint rind-like flavour, almost a banana peel, and paired with an appley tartness and champagne carb on the finish. The sweetness now also sets in very quickly. Lots of creamyness with the banana. Chapeau Banana mouthfeel is quite spritzy with a low - but sharp - carbonation hitting instantly but the drinkability is really good.
